Pastor Felicia (Lisa) Harris was also born and raised in the East Atlanta area of Georgia. Everyone knew her as being soft spoken and quite shy of speaking before a crowd, but God has truly shaken her foundation in that area. She boldly proclaims that Jesus rewards those who diligently seek him and that he gives beauty for ashes. She testifies to the fact that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we can ask or imagine.
Pastor Lisa, as she is affectionately known, accepted her call into the ministry and was licensed and ordained by her husband and co-laborer, Pastor Rodney B. Harris. This new life began on her birthday, December 5, 2004, and she will never forget the assignment placed upon her on this day. She became the co-pastor of Saint James Missionary Baptist Church.
Pastor Lisa recognizes that the spirit of the Lord is upon her, and has appointed her to bring good news to the poor. She knows that God sent her to comfort the broken hearted; to let those who mourn know that they shall have joy; and those which have spirits of heaviness know that they shall have a garment of praise. |
